Terms of Use
These terms govern access to iStandOut and the institution spaces, learning tools and digital services delivered through it.
Platform purpose
iStandOut provides configurable institution management, learning, assessment, communication, digital tools and related services. Features vary by institution type, subscription and entitlement.
Accounts and security
Users must provide accurate information, protect account credentials and use only the institution and role access granted to them. Institutions are responsible for authorized user registration and role assignment.
Subscriptions, add-ons and payments
Paid access may be term-based or otherwise stated for the relevant product. Add-ons and Digital Tools may require separate entitlement. Prices, renewal terms and payment status shown at purchase or renewal form part of the service agreement.
Courses, programmes and Question Bank
Platform learning content may be licensed rather than sold outright. Users may not reproduce, redistribute or commercially exploit protected content outside the permitted licence. Exam-style practice does not imply official affiliation with examination bodies unless expressly stated.
Acceptable use
Users must not attempt unauthorized access, bypass tenant isolation, misuse learner data, upload unlawful material, interfere with platform security or use the service to infringe intellectual-property rights.
Institution content and responsibilities
Institutions remain responsible for the accuracy, legality and permissions associated with their own uploaded content, learner records, communications and local policies.
Suspension and termination
Access may be suspended for security, abuse, non-payment or material breach. Institution closure or permanent deletion may remove institution-owned data subject to legitimate retention requirements.
Availability and third-party services
Reasonable efforts are made to keep the platform available, but uninterrupted availability is not guaranteed. Third-party providers may have their own terms and service conditions.
Liability and changes
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the platform is provided subject to reasonable limitations of liability. Features and these terms may change as the service evolves, with updated terms published on the platform.
Governing terms
Applicable law and any signed commercial agreement with the institution will govern where they impose additional or different requirements.
